Adel Toh

Adel Toh is an oral health therapist (OHT) and Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) practitioner who works with both children and adults to maintain excellent oral hygiene, healthier gums and long-term oral health before, during and after orthodontic treatment.

Her approach is preventive with a focus on minimally invasive techniques.

Her clinical focus centres on:

• Preventive oral hygiene care for children and adults through scaling and polishing or Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT); 
• Thorough and comprehensive gum disease treatment before orthodontic treatment
• Restoration of damaged and decayed teeth with fissure sealants, onlays/inlays, root canal treatment or dental fillings for children 18 years and younger. 
• Retention of teeth position with retainers post-orthodontic treatment.

Adel is known for her calm chairside manner and her ability to make dental visits feel approachable, especially for anxious patients and younger children. She is a favourite with our young patients because of her nurturing personality. 

Her focus is not just on “keeping teeth clean” but on aiding patients to understand the reason why certain areas keep getting inflammation or decay.

Adel frequently supports families who want their children to grow up with strong oral habits and positive dental experiences. She takes time to teach children in a simple, encouraging way, helping them feel proud of their progress, while guiding parents on practical routines that actually work in real life.

For adults, her care is structured around prevention and maintenance: Keeping gums healthy, reducing plaque build-up, improving breath freshness, and helping patients protect their teeth as they age. 

She believes oral hygiene should feel doable, not intimidating and that the best long-term results come from small habits done consistently.
